Disposable Pediatric Isolation Gown
For the first time anywhere, Masks N More along with Envision Medical Technology have produced a disposable pediatric size isolation gown. These gowns allow younger visitors the opportunity to visit their newborn brothers or sisters or to visit older relatives confined to isolation rooms.
Wouldn't it be nice if the youngest of siblings could visit their newborn brothers or sisters in the neonatal intensive care units (NICU) throughout the country?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if younger children could visit their relatives, ailing parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles in isolation wards throughtout the United States?
Each year hundreds of young visitors to hospitals are not allowed to visit their relatives in our nations hospitals because the hospitals have little or nothing for these younger children to wear safely. Some hospitals "cut down" the smallest gowns isolation gowns, but they are ill fitting and are sometimes considered a safety hazard.
With proper knowledge and better education about the benefits of family participation in patient care, more hospitals are implementing the use of these child-size garments.
